About Saul Bellow
Saul Bellow was a Canadian‑American writer celebrated for his novels and essays. He received the Pulitzer Prize, the 1976 Nobel Prize in Literature and the National Medal of Arts for his literary achievements. Bellow is the only author to have won the National Book Award for Fiction three times, and in 1990 the National Book Foundation gave him its lifetime Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters.
