About Pitbull
In the United States the term pit bull usually covers breeds such as the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bully, and sometimes the Bull Terrier or similar crossbreds. In the United Kingdom the phrase is used mainly for the American Pit Bull Terrier and excludes the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Most of these dogs descend from the 19th‑century British bull‑and‑terrier, a mix of the Old English Bulldog and Old English Terrier.
