About Frank Zappa
Zappa wrote music ranging from rock, pop, jazz and jazz fusion to orchestral pieces and musique concrète. He produced almost every one of the more than sixty albums released with the Mothers of Invention and as a solo artist. His recordings are known for nonconformity, improvisation, sonic experimentation, musical virtuosity, and satire of American culture. He also directed feature‑length films and music videos and designed many album covers.
