Generally we find ourselves doing things guided by the advice, direction or demand of others; or by our own desires arising from advertisements or spurred by what others possess or plan to buy; or by the force of circumstances, and so on. A superficial desire is found to be enough for us to fulfill our routine needs. When this becomes our habitual pattern of acting, we run the risk of not knowing what a commitment means in life.”
