“Its always good to be yourself, it shouldnt matter what people have to say about you. I went through it, I still go through it today but I've learned to ignore it. there will always be people in your life that want to knock you down but you just have to get back up dust yourself off and smile. If you show them that what they say isnt bothering you and if you learn to ignore it then sooner or later they will leave you alone. People who are like that are just jealous because your the person they want to be or you have something they would like to have themselves. I've always been told no matter what, when you come across people who want to put you down or want to criticize you for anything, have a problem with themselves and not you. There was a girl in my school who was rude to me every day and was always beating me down and treating me like I was nothing. I decided to stand up to her one day and asked her why she insisted on being mean to me, suprisingly she actually told me about her personal life and about how she was being abused and it was weird because I told her I was going through similar things and she changed her outlook on me completely. She said she always did it because I was always happy regardless of what others had to say and she just wanted to be happy to and she got happiness out of putting others down. Little did she know at that time I really wasnt happy with my life. We acually became great friends after that. Ive learned rude people seem to sometimes have bad things going on in there life but they just dont know how to deal with it.”
