About Pete Rose
Nicknamed “Charlie Hustle,” Rose began his MLB career in 1963 and played until 1986. He was a key part of the Cincinnati Reds, known as the “Big Red Machine,” which dominated the National League in the 1970s. Rose also spent time with the Philadelphia Phillies, winning his third World Series championship in 1980, and had a short period with the Montreal Expos. He later managed the Reds from 1984 to 1989.
