“My life was on the set of 90210, which meant I had a full-time job while everyone else I knew was starting college. It kind of sucked that I didn't get to go to college. Instead of walking into a dorm room, meeting my roommate, and signing up for classes, I got to hear about it from my friends and then act it out on TV. At least I didn't have to gain the freshman fifteen, puke up grain punch every night, or write papers. But the flip side was that all my flirtations and friendships were on the job. There I was, trying to grow into my character, develop as an actor, and generally conduct myself in a professional manner, and at the same time, I was completely caught up in the drama of who was flirting with whom and who was sleeping with whom. And there was plenty of drama, believe me.”
