"Life, will present you with many blessings. It is your job to accept them and appreciate those blessings before time takes them away from you. It is often said you do not know what you have, until you lose it. For some that's true. Others say they know what they have, but they never thought they'd lose it. The truth is, that if you knew what you had, you would have and should have, appreciated it to the full extent. Looking back on my past I can remember plenty of things that I took for granted. If I could go back and really learn to love and appreciate the people and things that I took for granted, I know I'd be a lot better person but I'm thankful for who I am right now. Because I didn't appreciate what I had in the past, the struggle gave me a perspective to always count my blessings. And for that, I am thankful."
