About Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa (1910–1997), born Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu and also venerated as Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta, was a Catholic nun of Albanian-Indian background. She established the Missionaries of Charity, the religious community with which her name remains closely linked, and was later recognized as a saint of the Catholic Church. Her published writings include In the Heart of the World.
