About Michael McKinney
Michael Dean McKinney is an American politician and former family physician serving as the chair of the Texas Pharmaceutical Initiative Governing Board since 2024. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as the 13th chancellor of The Texas A&M University System from 2006 to 2011. He also served as a member of the Texas House of Representatives from 1984 to 1991.
