About Kris Kristofferson
He was a pioneering figure in the 1970s outlaw country movement, moving away from the polished Nashville sound toward a raw, introspective style. His well‑known songs include "Me and Bobby McGee," "For the Good Times," "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down," and "Help Me Make It Through the Night," which other artists also recorded as hits.
