[Wikipedia] David Melech Friedman is an American lawyer and diplomat who served as United States Ambassador to Israel from 2017 to 2021. He joined the law firm Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman in 1994, where he met and represented Donald Trump, then chairman and president of The Trump Organization.
