About Allan Savory
Clifford Allan Redin Savory is a Rhodesianan ecologist and former soldier, farmer, rancher, and Rhodesian politician. He is the President Emeritus and co-founder of the Savory Institute. He originated holistic management, a systems thinking approach to managing resources, and the origin story his professional life's work is told in the memoir UnSavory: African Stories of Wildlife, War and the Birth of Holistic Management.
