Laura Catherine Schlessinger, known as Dr. Laura, is an American talk radio host and author. She hosts The Dr. Laura Program, a three‑hour weekday show on Sirius XM Radio that answers callers' personal‑advice questions and includes short monologues on social and political topics. Her website says the show preaches, teaches, and nags about morals, values, and ethics. She has been inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in Chicago.
