About Jiddu Krishnamurti
He was adopted by members of the Theosophical Society as a child and was expected to become a World Teacher. In 1922 he experienced painful, seizure‑like mystical episodes that changed his view of reality. He left the movement in 1929, disbanding the Order of the Star in the East, and spent the rest of his life speaking to groups and individuals worldwide, hoping to inspire a radical transformation of humanity.
