About Edmund Spenser
Edmund Spenser (c. 1552–1599) was an English poet best known for the epic poem The Faerie Queene, which celebrates the Tudor dynasty and Elizabeth I. He is recognized as a leading craftsman of early Modern English verse and is considered one of the great English poets.
