About Chuck Norris

Carlos Ray 'Chuck' Norris served in the United States Air Force before winning many martial‑arts championships. He holds black belts in karate, taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu‑jitsu, and judo, and he founded his own style called Chun Kuk Do. Norris first worked as a martial‑arts instructor for celebrities and made a small film appearance in The Wrecking Crew (1968). Bruce Lee later invited him to play a villain in The Way of the Dragon (1972). After advice from friend Steve McQueen, he took acting seriously and starred in Breaker! Breaker! (1977) and Good Guys Wear Black (1978), becoming a well‑known action star.
