About Abdu'l-Bahá
Abdu'l-Bahá, whose birth name was ʻAbbás, was the eldest son of Baháʼu'lláh, the founder of the Bahá’í Faith. His father chose him to be his successor, and he served as the head of the Baháʼí community from 1892 until 1921. Later scholars describe him as the final of the three central figures of the faith, together with Baháʼu'lláh and the Báb.
