“Walking alone into the colder deeper water. As my heart starts racing, the beat of the drum drifts me away deeper into the sand. Beating away like the first time we kissed. My feet begin to pinch as thesand turns into sharp little rocks feeling like glass. When I feel this it puts me back to the times our relationship was on the rocks. I quickly walk further into the water, which is now chest deep and is hurting my lungs to breathe like when you left me. It seems like it has been forever since you have been gone.
