"What we need most now as Americans is……" — John Lars Zwerenz
"What we need most now as Americans is forbearance and tolerance of our fellow citizens who hold views opposite or different than our own. Forbearance is the panacea for true and solid endurance as a Republic made up of varied societal, ancestral and cultural elements. Are we not all of the same race? Were we not all called by providence to be members of this one, manifold Nation? Do we not all crave peace in our society, and peace within our minds and bodies? So let us all live up to the brightness of that starry firmament of freedom which shall forever embody our Countrys most lofty inspirations. For there will always be more that unites us as Americans than the number of those issues which we quarrel over. We are all of the same giant family. Never time alone, but time combined with good will shall one day reveal our mysterious intimacy. And our National, familial ties will one day still and silence todays turbulent mosaic of those troubled waters which afflict us all."
