““Purusharth (spiritual effort to progress as the Self) is such that it can only happen after attaining Purush (the Self). In fact, the prakruti (non-Self complex) is making you dance forcibly and on top of that you say, "I am doing this." That is known as bhranti no purusharth (illusory effort). That cannot be real spiritual effort to progress as the Self. It is only after the Self and the non-Self complex become separate that real spiritual effort to progress as the Self can happen.””
