““There are no easy answers to the brokenness found in under-resourced communities. Some will say it is a spiritual problem; others say it's political; still others blame systemic injustice. My experience has led me to conclude that it's all these things and more, and that throughout Scripture the Lord constantly reminds his people that he cares not only for the spiritual well-being of people but for their physical and emotional well-being too. Wholeness occurs when nothing is missing or broken. That's what the kingdom looks like, the kingdom we're to pray for on earth as it is in heaven.””
