Skepta talks about how rappers get respect differently in the U.S. and in England, where the BBC and the Queen’s country shape the narrative. He describes nights when he would fly cheap to Paris, crash on a friend’s floor, and perform a show because he trusted his own drive. He also stresses that a good diss track must be built on facts and honesty.
