About Rudolf Steiner
He was also described as a New Age guru, social reformer, and claimed clairvoyant. Steiner first became known at the end of the 19th century as a literary critic, publishing works such as The Philosophy of Freedom. In the early 20th century he created anthroposophy, an esoteric spiritual movement rooted in German idealist philosophy and theosophy, and his teachings draw on Christian Gnosticism. Many of his ideas are considered pseudoscientific, and he was prone to pseudohistory.
