Nick Nurse says predictability can sometimes be defended in basketball, even though he knows risks are part of coaching. He treats each regular‑season game as a test to see where the team stands, and he watches film all day to learn. He values positive attitudes that keep the staff moving through an 82‑game schedule and admits he gets more attention than he wants.
