Howard Klein was an American writer, political activist, media personality, and onetime record label executive, DJ and producer. He was the president of Reprise Records from 1989 to 2001. He appeared occasionally as himself in music- and political-related film documentaries and received accolades for his stance against censorship and for his advocacy of free speech protection.
