About Albert Bandura
Albert Bandura was a Canadian‑American psychologist and professor at Stanford University. He helped connect education and psychology and played a key role in moving the field from behaviorism toward cognitive psychology. Bandura created social learning theory, social cognitive theory and the idea of self‑efficacy. In 1961 he ran the famous Bobo doll experiment, showing that children can learn aggressive or neutral actions simply by watching an adult’s behavior.
