I think our times are so complicated and so crucial. A generation ago philosophers and world leaders warned us that with atomic power we humans could now destroy our planet. You and I now live in a more present, more personal danger: The stuff that occupies our minds can destroy our character, our mental and spiritual health, and eventually our souls. We preachers were never needed more. We aren't going out of style. We're only being called to higher ground.””
