““Sit” is the command you’ll use most often. Your pup objects when placed in a sit with your hands, so try the “bringing the food up under his chin” method. Better still, catch him in the act! Your dog will sit on his own many times throughout the day, so let him know that he’s doing the “Sit” by rewarding him. Praise him and have him sit for everything—toys, connecting his leash, his dinner, before going out the door, etc. ””
