““4) Step Four Now that we are in the secret place meditating on the presence of God it is good to read the word first and listen to Him and see what He has to say. In this we are preparing to memorize by reading the scriptures and making sure that we understand what it says and that God is speaking it out to us. 5) Step Five In this step we are memorizing what God has spoken out to us, while asking Him for help. He will help us quickly and easily memorize verse upon verse. However it is good to use a chunk method while we meditate on the meaning of the verse. That way it will be associated with a place in our heart, and not our mind only. This is important so that the message behind the scripture will be used during practical life application. And finally, as we put our faith in the Holy Spirit having prayed for help, He will strengthen us to memorize much scripture according to our faith.””
