All Universe quotes Alan Watts’s page

Alan Watts paints the universe as a never‑ending game of hide‑and‑seek, where each action mirrors the whole cosmos. He points out a deep mystery that lives in darkness and lets light appear. He also notes that trying to pin down the universe with strict definitions often fails, because it feels different from the gods we picture.
