About Trey Songz
Songz was discovered by producer Troy Taylor in 2003 and signed to Songbook Entertainment in a partnership with Atlantic Records. His second album, Trey Day (2007), reached number 11 on the Billboard 200 and featured the single Can’t Help but Wait, which hit number 14 on the Hot 100 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance. The 2009 album Ready climbed to number 3 on the Billboard 200, produced the top‑ten hit Say Aah, and was nominated for Best Contemporary R&B Album at the following Grammy Awards.
