About Sydney J. Harris
Born in 1917, Sydney J. Harris was a British‑American journalist who worked for the Chicago Daily News and later the Chicago Sun‑Times. He wrote eleven books and his weekday column “Strictly Personal” was syndicated in roughly 200 newspapers across the United States and Canada. He also created a special feature titled “Things I Learned En Route to Looking Up Other Things.”
