About Stephen Hawking
Stephen Hawking was an English theoretical astrophysicist, cosmologist and author. He led research at the University of Cambridge’s Centre for Theoretical Cosmology and served as the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics from 1979 until 2009, a post regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious academic positions.
