About Pablo Neruda
Pablo Neruda began writing poetry at age thirteen and became known as a poet early in life. He created works in many styles, such as surrealist poems, historical epics, political manifestos, a prose autobiography, and passionate love poems, including the collection Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair published in 1924.
