About Neil Young
Neil Percival Young is a Canadian‑American singer‑songwriter. He is the son of journalist and author Scott Young and began his music career in Winnipeg during the 1960s. After moving to Los Angeles, he helped form the folk‑rock group Buffalo Springfield. As a solo artist, often backed by Crazy Horse, he released well‑known albums such as Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere (1969), After the Gold Rush (1970), Harvest (1972), On the Beach (1974) and Rust Never Sleeps (1979). He also played part‑time with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, contributing to the chart‑topping 1970 album Déjà Vu.
