About Karl Marx
He was also a social and political theorist, journalist and revolutionary socialist. Marx developed historical materialism, analysing class struggle under capitalism and predicting a proletarian overthrow. He wrote the magnum opus Das Kapital between 1867 and 1894. His ideas, called Marxism, later inspired revolutions and uprisings in many countries.

We call communism the real movement which abolishes the present state of things. The conditions of this movement result from the premises now in existence.” quote by Karl Marx](https://sms4smile.com/q/img-quotes/5c4/karl-marx-399_abolish_communism-is-for-us-not-a-state-of-affai_1114566.jpg)
