About Kahlil Gibran
Kahlil Gibran, born Jubrān Khalīl Jubrān, was a Lebanese‑American writer, poet and visual artist best known for his book The Prophet, first published in the United States in 1923. Although many called him a philosopher, he rejected that label. The Prophet has been translated into more than 100 languages and is considered one of the best‑selling books ever.
