About John Petrucci
He produced all of Dream Theater’s albums starting with Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory in 1999, often co‑producing with drummer Mike Portnoy until Portnoy left between 2010 and 2023. Since the 2011 album A Dramatic Turn of Events he has been the sole producer. Petrucci also released two solo albums, Suspended Animation in 2005 and Terminal Velocity in 2020.
