About Gilles Deleuze
Gilles Deleuze was a French philosopher who wrote from the early 1950s until his death in 1995. He explored philosophy, literature, film and fine art. With psychoanalyst Félix Guattari he co‑authored the two volumes Anti‑Oedipus (1972) and A Thousand Plateaus (1980), key texts in post‑structuralist thought. His 1968 book Difference and Repetition is often called his magnum opus.
