About Clint Eastwood
Clinton Eastwood Jr. is a retired American actor, filmmaker and musician. He became internationally famous for playing the “Man with No Name” in Sergio Leone’s Dollars Trilogy and the cop Harry Callahan in the Dirty Harry films. He first gained fame on the Western TV series Rawhide. His roles as the “Man with No Name” and Harry Callahan made him a lasting cultural figure of masculinity. In 1986 he was elected mayor of Carmel‑by‑the‑Sea, California, and served for two years.
