About Chanakya
According to legends recorded from the 4th to the 11th century CE, Chanakya was a Brahmin who assisted the first Mauryan emperor Chandragupta in rising to power and establishing the Maurya Empire. He later acted as chief adviser and prime minister for both Chandragupta Maurya and his son Bindusara.
