About Ayn Rand
Ayn Rand (1905‑1982), born Alice O'Connor, was a Russian‑American writer and philosopher who created Objectivism and wrote novels such as Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead. Her other books include Anthem, We the Living, and The Virtue of Selfishness. She was married to Frank O'Connor, and her writing was later honored in the Prometheus Award Hall of Fame.
