![“Phil [Mickelson] has done a great job. He's a great player and he's conducted himself very well through the years. He's been a good ambassador for the game. He hasn't won in a while, but he still has time, and it wouldn't surprise me if he won again.” quote by Arnold Palmer](https://sms4smile.com/q/img-quotes/e59/arnold-palmer-2127_ambassadors_phil-mickelson-has-done-a-great-job-he-s_1776731.jpg)
![“As for 1994 [ U.S. Open], I didn't do very well, but it was a great occasion for me even though I was not playing the way I had hoped. And it was obviously a very emotional day that last day, but it was a great memory for me and I have had a lot of great memories at Oakmont over the years.” quote by Arnold Palmer](https://sms4smile.com/q/img-quotes/c4a/arnold-palmer-2127_emotional_as-for-1994-u-s-open-i-didn-t-do-very-we_2721110.jpg)
![“I played with [Dwight Eisenhower] on the day after I won the Masters at his request. We became everlasting friends. I was with him the day before he died at Walter Reed.” quote by Arnold Palmer](https://sms4smile.com/q/img-quotes/e2c/arnold-palmer-2127_died_i-played-with-dwight-eisenhower-on-the-d_141346.jpg)
![“There's no question that the galleries still like to see birdies and eagles. If you take them all away, it takes some of the dramatics, the excitement of a golf tournament and we [people] don't want to do that.” quote by Arnold Palmer](https://sms4smile.com/q/img-quotes/63d/arnold-palmer-2127_eagles_there-s-no-question-that-the-galleries-s_2261895.jpg)
