We all know that in our own strength nothing much happens, but that there is no limit to what we can do if we have God’s strength at our disposal, right? What I’d like you to consider is this. God is not in the business of giving us his strength so that we can accomplish great things. What God really wants is that we would simply surrender ourselves to him. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship” (Rom 12:1). Now a sacrifice is generally dead.””
