“I keep a journal for my future wife. I jot down love letters, poems, etc. I write as if she's a real person, not some ambiguous entity in some foggy alternative universe! I know that she's alive at this very moment! She needs prayer. She has bad days. She weeps. She laughs. I don't spend my days twiddling my thumbs wondering what she looks like, because I know that God's plan is perfect and will be amazing, in His time. When I can put my future spouse in that perspective and leave her in God's hands, it is a joy to be faithful in my attitudes, thoughts, actions, and relationships with other members of the opposite sex.”
