About Tates Locke
Taylor "Tates" Locke was an American basketball coach. He was described by Rick Telander in the March 8, 1982, issue of Sports Illustrated as being "as high-strung, aggressive and gung-ho over college coaching as anyone has ever been." He died in Jacksonville, Florida, on May 15, 2024, at the age of 87.
