About Paul Kalanithi
Paul Sudhir Arul Kalanithi, an Indian‑American neurosurgeon, neuroscientist and writer, authored the memoir When Breath Becomes Air, which describes his life and his fight with stage IV metastatic lung cancer. The book was published posthumously by Random House in January 2016 and appeared on the New York Times nonfiction bestseller list.
