About Howie Long

He played college football for the Villanova Wildcats and was drafted by the Raiders in the second round of the 1981 NFL draft. After his first season in Oakland, he spent the rest of his career in Los Angeles. Long earned eight Pro Bowl selections, three first‑team All‑Pro honors, helped the team win Super Bowl XVIII, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
