About Havelock Ellis
Ellis was also a eugenicist, progressive intellectual, and social reformer. In 1897 he co‑wrote the first English medical textbook on homosexuality. He published many works on various sexual practices, inclinations, and transgender psychology. He introduced the concepts of narcissism and autoeroticism, which were later incorporated into psychoanalysis.
